Out of order geographically, but I’m too excited to not post these amazing images of the Jardin Majorelle — one time home of art nouvou artist Jacques Majorelle (initially), followed by burgeoning fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent & partner Pierre Berge. The best thing for a hot Moroccan day is to slowly drift through a water garden. Preferably one designed by world famous artists (who for some reason felt the need to ship 90% of the plants from CA and Mexico). One might assume from the past two outfits post that I only ever wear striped shirts, and one would be fairly correct in that assumption. I picked this up at one of the several hundred Zara’s I trekked through in Spain (there’s even a two-level Zara in the Barcelona airport; you can’t get out of the country and avoid it), and was told almost immediately afterwards by a very drunk Spaniard that I was looking mas fashionable. Let me tell you, this is considered the height of compliments around these here parts.

Hi Jess!
WoW! So beautiful and colorful! You finally got a taste of sunshine..bask in it girl!!! And I love striped shirts so rock on!
Speaking of rocks…I got engaged!! We are getting married in SF May 2014! Maybe you will be back home by then! haha
Enjoy your next journey! Will you see the pyramids or any temples? Or is it too risky for such travel?
Have fun!
Huzzah! Congrats Beverly — I’m so excited for you! I will definitely be around in May, let’s talk more about it. Please let me know if you need help with anything, anything at all! And I would LOVE to see the pyramids on this trip, but as of right now I think it is too risky… but we’ll see!
