BREAKFAST AT LADURÉE

Typically I like to grab as many Ladurée macarons as possible and run for the nearest park bench, but the other weekend I took a friend’s advice and stopped by the tea salon at the boutique in the 5th for their famous French toast breakfast. The salon is absolutely stunning — a wonderful place to stop in for that quintessentially luxurious French experience.

While in London I picked up these incredible over-the-knee black boots from Shoe Embassy. I’ve been eyeing this trend for a while now, but haven’t been ready to spend upwards of $300 on any versions I’ve seen of these boots available. This pair was less than $200, and I’ve completely in love with them. It was hard though, as I wanted to leave the shop with every pair of boots I saw. There was only so much room in my suitcase, but (un)fortunately Shoe Embassy ships to Paris. So there goes any chance of saving this spring…

I wish there was one back in my town of SF as well — but I guess some things have to stay in their country of origin even in this global world that we live in, otherwise we would be that much less inspired to travel!
